About
Blom is designed for people who lives in small living spaces. It's designed for sustainability and usability. By it's recycled truck tarpaulin it's flexibel which makes it possible to enlarge and reduce its capacity. Blom holds your plant from a young twig to an adult plant. This product was developed together with frabriek8.
Ideation
When they come with a general idea it's important to make the translation to a producable product. This starts with a general ideation. In this project I chose to start with quick sketches to visualize ideas.
Prototyping
Blom is an easy-to-assemble product. Thanks to the simplicity of the assembly it also leads to a product which is perfectly designed for disassembly.
Usability
The communication of Blom is obvious. When your plant grows, the user will automatically unroll the fabric which enlarges the capacity of the pot. Therefore this innovative flowerpot is easy to use.
Impact for Climate
By thinking about the right materials for the product we get a truly sustainable product. Thanks to the recycled truck canvas Blom is a durable product that contributes to a green environment.
